RISK ASSESSMENT TRAINING

Section 19 of the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 requires that employers must identify the hazards in the workplace and assess the associated risks to the health and welfare of all employees, contractors and visitors.

A properly implemented risk assessment program can assist in the prevention of injuries, fatalities, property damage and other incidents on-site.
This course is designed for anyone with responsibility for carrying out risk assessments and will be particularly useful for managers and supervisors, but will also be beneficial to team leaders, technicians, engineers and health and safety co-ordinators. This course will aid participants :

• Identify Hazards which exist in the workplace.
• Improve risk management practices by the use of simple assessment tools
• Understand the legal requirement to carry out risk assessments
• Be competent in carrying out an effective risk assessment

The course consists of 1 full days training and costs € 160 per attendee for scheduled courses.
