  • Advising the employer on the transport of dangerous goods.
  • Preparing an annual report on the activities concerning dangerous goods.
  • Monitoring the procedures and practices on the transport of dangerous goods.

HAZARDOUS GOODS by SEA (IMDG)

Vast quantities of dangerous goods are transported by sea. Did you know that over 30% of all shipments transported by sea in UK and Ireland are found to be incorrect? Of these over half the errors were due to problems with segregation, labeling, packaging, documentation, and placarding. The regulations which cover transport of dangerous goods by sea are the IMDG code and are governed by the International Maritime Organisation (IMO). We are able to provide full consultancy in relation to all aspects of transporting Dangerous Goods by sea.

HAZARDOUS GOODS by AIR (IATA)

Dangerous goods by air are governed by the ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organisation), who have determined what materials are permitted, which are forbidden, packaging, labeling and document requirements. Again DCM Compliance can advise you on your responsibilities under IATA regulations to ensure that your goods arrive safely at their destination.
