INDUSTRIAL HYGIENE ASSESSMENT & MONITORING

In accordance with the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005, employers are required to provide a safe place of work as reasonably practicable for all employees.

Assessment Provided:

  • Review of existing controls under the Hierarchy of Control methodology, review
    • Chemical Agent Risk Assessments.
  • Review of Primary Control Measures i.e. Containment Booths, Charge Booths, Fume Hoods,
    • Local Exhaust Ventilation etc.
  • Liaise with the local Health Provider to discuss Chemical Exposure Prevention.
  • Review of Safety Data Sheets.
IH Monotoring

Monitoring:

  • Total Dust, Specific Dust & Solvent monitoring.
  • Personnel and Area monitoring.
  • Verification of existing equipment controls. (Primary Controls)
  • Verification of new equipment using a Placebo eg Lactose
  • Verification of PPE ie Secondary Controls
