SAFETY REPRESENTATIVE TRAINING

This course is designed to for employees who have been designated as the safety representative within their organisation.

Safety RepresentativeModules covered during the course include:

• Safety and health legal system
• Role of the Safety Representative and Safety Committee members in the safety consultation and participation process
• Communication skills for the Safety Representative and Safety Committee members
• Hazard identification and carrying out risk assessments
• Interpreting and implementing the Safety Statement
• Carrying out safety and health inspections
• Accident investigation, recording and analysis
• Sources of safety and health information
• Risk control and safety and health management at work

Assessment and Qualification

Successful participants will receive a signed certificate which is valid for 3 years.

The course consists of 2 full days training and one follow up meeting on the attendees work site. The cost is 700 euro per attendee for scheduled courses.
